📍 Sossusvlei / Deadvlei (Namib-Naukluft National Park)
This is THE most iconic photography location in Namibia.Must-shoot spots:
Deadvlei white clay pan with dead camelthorn trees
Big Daddy Dune at sunrise
Dune 45
Sossusvlei dune lines (long telephoto shots)
Hiddenvlei (quieter, minimalism shots)
Best for: surreal desert, fine-art minimalism, silhouettes, sunrise colours
📍 Namib Desert
Sesriem Canyon
NamibRand Nature Reserve (incredible wide-angle landscapes)
Desert night sky / astrophotography
Best for: dunes, textures, abstract patterns, long-lens compression
📍 Etosha National Park
One of Africa’s greatest wildlife photography destinations. Best spots inside the park:
Okaukuejo Waterhole (sunset + black-and-white wildlife silhouettes)
Halali Waterhole
Goas Waterhole
Nebrownii Waterhole
Etosha Pan (flat white desert backdrop)
Best for: elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes.

📍 Swakopmund & Walvis Bay
Coastal desert meets modern town.Must-shoot spots:
Walvis Bay Pink Salt Lakes (drone heaven)
Pelican Point (seals, beach landscapes)
Dune 7
Swakopmund Jetty at sunset
Best for: colourful landscapes, wildlife, drone content.

Rugged, raw, and perfect for landscape photographers.Must-shoot areas:
